Lose weight with following Indian recipes that are rich in protein and fiber but low in calories. These recipes are too low in calories to be used both in lunch and dinner safely without any fear of weight gain. The recipes are also low in fats but very healthy and delicious making weight loss process a fun.

1- Pasta with Tomato Sauce Indian Recipe To Lose Weight

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil – 2tsp and 1tsp
  • Garlic finally chopped — 1tbs and 2tsp
  • Onions finally chopped – 2 medium
  • Tomato pulp – 2cups
  • Salt – to taste
  • Red Chilli powder – 1/2tsp
  • Sugar – 1tsp
  • Milk low fat – 3/4cups
  • Cornflour – 2tsp
  • Dried Oregano – 1tsp
  • Capsicum chopped – 1
  • Sweet corn boiled – 1/4cup
  • Chilli flakes – 1tsp

Preparation

  • Heat oil in nonstick pan and sauté 1tbs chopped garlic on medium flame only for few seconds.
  • Next sauté onions for only 1 minute on medium flame and then add pulp of fresh tomatoes, chilli, salt and sugar in it and cook for up to 3 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Dissolve cornflour in 2tbs water and add in sauce slowly and carefully. Also add milk at this stage and mix well then cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring occasionally.
  • Switch off flame as sauce is ready.
  • In another pan heat 1tsp oil and sauté remaining garlic on medium flame.
  • Next add vegetables and chilli flakes and sauté for 1 minute on medium flame.
  • Add salt and pasta to the pan and cook more for 2 minutes on medium flame stirring occasionally.
  • Now mix tomato sauce in pasta and cook for more 2 to 3 minutes. Keep stirring.
  • Pasta is ready to serve.

2- Spring Onion Chicken Indian Recipe To Lose Weight

Ingredients

  • Chicken boneless and skinless – 1lb
  • Spring Onion sliced – 1bunch
  • Garlic Ginger paste – 1tsp
  • Olive Oil – 3tbs
  • Salt – To taste
  • Red Chilli powder – 1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1/4tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4tsp
  • Whole spice powder – 1/2tsp
  • Lemon juice – 2tsp

Preparation

  • Cut chicken in stripes and marinate it with all of the ingredients except oil and onion for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil and stir fry white part of spring onion in it for few minutes.
  • Then add marinated chicken and fry until cooked on a medium-high flame. It will be done in 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Next add green part of the spring onion and keep on stir frying until the moisture of the chicken is dried completely.
  • Dish out and enjoy a low calories fat burning chicken recipe.

3- Sauté Chicken Vegetables Tortilla Wraps Recipet

Ingredients

  • Chicken boneless – 1/2 kg
  • Capsicum – 1cup
  • Cabbage – 1cup
  • Green peas – 1/2cup
  • Mushrooms – 1/2cup
  • Olive Oil – 2tbs
  • Salt – To taste
  • Black pepper – 1/2tsp
  • Chilli flakes – 1/2tsp
  • Dried Oregano – 1/2tsp
  • Soya sauce – 2tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 2tbsp
  • Corn Tortilla wraps – As required
  • (French bread can also be used instead of tortilla wraps.)

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken and vegetables in your desired shape either cubes or strips.
  • Heat oil in a pot and fry chicken on medium-high heat.
  • Sauté chicken until it changes color. Evaporate all of the water of the chicken thoroughly.
  • Now add vegetables in the chicken and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add all the spices in the mixture and mix well.
  • After adding spices stir fry the mixture on high flame for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Set aside to be cool.
  • Warm tortilla wrap in microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Now put the chicken vegetables filling topped with green lettuce in the centre and fold both outer edges over the filling and roll up.
  • Cut the wrap in two halves and serve.
